eSIM Setup Guide

Follow the steps below to install your KiwiSim eSIM.

Install your eSIM

Find the email we sent you with your eSIM details. You can tap the Install button directly, or use the QR code if you're on a different device.

Activate your eSIM

Follow the on-screen instructions to activate your eSIM - this may take a few minutes.

Label your eSIM

Give your eSIM a name (e.g. "KiwiSim Travel") to make it easy to identify. Then choose whether to use it for mobile data.

Set as data line when travelling

When you arrive at your destination, go to into your eSIM settings and enable your KiwiSim eSIM. Make sure to enable data roaming for your KiwiSim eSIM.

Disable your usual SIM (optional)

To avoid being charged roaming fees by your usual phone plan provider, you can disable your usual SIM. Go to your eSIM settings and disable your primary SIM.
